Toby Neilan - Kylie X tour artwork

Did you know that one of our illustrators, Toby Neilan, produced the visuals for Kylie’s X tour?

He was commissioned by united visual artists to illustrate the track 'step back in time'. The visuals played on the title and took iconic elements of the 80's such as the rubic's cube and yoyo's juxtaposed with abstract travelating geometric imagery projected onto the stage floor and back drop.

The tour covered 58 countries in Europe - 6 in South America, 7 in Asia and 8 in Australasia. The Kylie X 2008 show premiered on 4music in late 2008; the concert was one of the first on the new station.

A few guests from Eyestorm

If you’re familiar with Eyestorm, our sister site, you may have noticed that a few of the Eyestorm artists also appear on ES Illustration. Susie Wright, Tyler Bright Hilton, John Pasche and Montana Forbes each have their work displayed on both websites due to the illustrative nature of their working practice.

Nick Sheehy – Kika and Bob

ES Illustration artist Nick Sheehy is behind the cartoon Kika and Bob, a fast-paced, funny, children’s animated series with optional interactive TV games and a website.
