Making Shapes, 2009
Award winning artist Anna Kyriacou’s naïve style drawings are seductive and simple. With her images of childhood journeys, she sensitively explores subjects such as social and religious limitation and the expression and restriction of sexuality. Recent work explores the subject of school bullying, as seen here in works such as ‘Geek’s Revenge’ and ‘Aarrh’.
In recent years Kyriacou has won 3 awards for her artwork, including the Brighton Fringe Festival Visual Arts Prize in 2008.
